Carrier Malaysia Service Division seeks a skilled HVAC technician to perform monthly routine service on chillers under a service agreement. You will troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control systems and provide actionable recommendations to keep systems running efficiently.

You will attend customer complaints, identify maintenance opportunities, and coordinate with customers, consultants, contractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth service execution.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in chiller servicing, commissioning, troubleshooting, or repair.
• Knowledge of centrifugal, screw, or water-cooled chiller systems.
• Experience in reading electrical/control drawings and interpreting equipment operating parameters.
• Familiarity with BMS, IoT/remote monitoring, or smart service platforms is an advantage.
• Experience working in data centres, industrial facilities, commercial buildings, or large-scale HVAC projects is highly desirable.

Responsabilités

• Perform monthly routine service for HVAC units (mainly chillers) under a service agreement.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, controls, and operational issues and provide recommendations.
• Attend customer complaints, investigate issues, and provide effective solutions.
• Support after-sales service sales by identifying repair, replacement, upgrade, and maintenance opportunities.
• Attend technical meetings with customers, consultants, and contractors.
• Coordinate with customers, contractors, technicians, and internal teams for smooth execution of service activities.
• Connect and monitor chillers through the Carrier Smart Service Platform and prepare equipment performance reports.
• Liaise with customer technicians on maintenance and repair schedules.
• Perform 24/7 standby duty (rostered) for HVAC units’ complaints and breakdowns.
• Ensure safety procedures and conduct during service or repairs.
