Job summary

ELE FOREST ANIMATION SDN. BHD is seeking a Sales Executive for field-based sales across Malaysia. The role involves visiting toy shops and retail outlets, servicing existing accounts, and developing new customers within designated territories.

You will ensure displays, pricing, and promotions are executed, and you will report findings from store visits. Ideal candidates have field or retail sales experience, strong Mandarin communication, and a drive to meet sales targets.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM or equivalent qualification; Diploma or Degree in Business, Marketing or a related field will be an added advantage.
• Experience in field sales, retail sales, business development, merchandising or account management is preferred.
• Experience in toys, collectibles, animation-related products, FMCG, retail or consumer products industry will be an added advantage.
• Fresh candidates with a strong interest in field sales and business development are also encouraged to apply.
• Good communication skills in Mandarin, with basic working proficiency in English.
• Familiar with the local market and comfortable visiting different retail outlets and customers within the assigned territory.
• Strong communication, negotiation and customer relationship management skills.
• Proactive, responsible, results-oriented and able to work independently in the field.
• Possess a valid driving licence and own transportation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular visits to toy shops, retail outlets, dealers and other assigned customers within the designated territory.
• Check and monitor product displays, stock availability, retail pricing and promotional execution during store visits.
• Ensure the company's products are properly displayed and promotions are executed according to agreed requirements.
• Take photos and prepare store visit reports, including product display, stock situation, pricing, competitor activities and other relevant market observations.
• Identify and develop new customers and business opportunities through market visits, prospecting, referrals and other sales activities.
• Introduce the company's products to potential customers, follow up on business opportunities and convert leads into active accounts.
• Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing customers to drive repeat orders and identify further sales opportunities.
• Follow up on customer enquiries, orders, product availability and other sales-related matters.
• Gather market intelligence, including competitor products, pricing, promotions, new launches and market trends, and provide timely feedback to management.
• Work closely with internal teams to resolve customer issues and ensure smooth order fulfilment.
• Achieve assigned sales targets, new customer development targets and store visit KPIs.
• Maintain accurate records of customer visits, sales activities, customer information and follow-up actions.
• Perform other reasonable duties assigned by the immediate superior.
