Job summary

SOUTH ISLAND FURNITURE is seeking a Sales Representative to drive revenue by acquiring new clients and managing existing accounts. You will conduct presentations, demos, and negotiations to close deals, while building strong relationships across the customer base.

The role requires 2–5 years of sales experience in furniture or related industries, plus strong English, Mandarin and Malay communication skills. A proactive, fast-paced team player is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Business, Marketing or furniture design.
• Proven 2–5 years in sales or customer service in furniture.
• Strong negotiation, persuasion, and closing abilities.
• Proficiency in SQL Software, MS Office and Canva/AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Develop new customer leads via cold calling, site visits, networking and research.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to drive repeat business.
• Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales quotas and KPIs.
• Conduct sales presentations, product demos, and negotiate contracts to close sales.
• Monitor competitor activity and industry trends to adjust strategies.
• Update CRM, track sales activity and forecast targets.
• Maintain deep knowledge of industry trends and product specifications.
