Job summary

AZAN ENGINEERING SDN. BHD. in Malaysia is seeking a QA/QC Support Engineer to assist in monitoring the quality of construction works and ensure compliance with drawings, specifications and project requirements.

You will help prepare QA/QC documents, inspection checklists, reports and records, coordinate with site personnel, subcontractors and consultants, and support inspections by consultants and clients.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Basic knowledge of construction processes, drawings and specifications.
• Familiarity with QA/QC documentation such as ITP, Method Statement, Inspection Request, MIR, WIR and NCR is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assist the QA/QC Engineer in monitoring the quality of construction works.
• Conduct site inspections and check workmanship, materials and construction activities.
• Ensure construction works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications and project requirements.
• Assist in preparing and maintaining QA/QC documents, inspection checklists, reports and records.
• Assist in submitting Inspection Requests and other quality related documents.
• Assist in monitoring material testing and laboratory test results.
• Maintain records of inspection reports, test results, material approvals and other QA/QC documentation.
• Assist in identifying quality issues and reporting them to the QA/QC Engineer or Site Manager.
• Assist in following up on corrective actions and Non-Conformance Reports (NCR).
• Coordinate with site personnel, subcontractors, suppliers, consultants on quality-related matters.
• Assist during consultant/client inspections and site quality checks.
• Ensure QA/QC records are properly filed and updated.
• Perform other duties related to quality control as assigned by the management.
