Job summary

SWM Environment Sdn Bhd is seeking a capable Inspector to plan and conduct inspections ensuring staff adherence to company policies, SWCorp guidelines, and regulatory requirements. The role involves reporting noncompliance, liaising with government bodies, and participating in domestic inquiries.

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree, has at least five years in related work (military intelligence/ site audit an advantage), and is willing to travel, work outdoors, and occasionally

• At least five (5) years of related experience. Experience in military intelligence, operation site audit is an advantage.
• Able to work under minimum supervision and deal with deadlines.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Willing to travel and possess own transport with valid driving license.
• Willing to work outdoors.
• Willing to work during odd hours whenever necessary.
• Ex-military personnel are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct routine or ad hoc inspections to ensure staff comply with company policies & procedures, SWCorp policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Share reports/photos or relevant information of noncompliance findings to the relevant departments and management for immediate action.
• Submit inspections planning based on targeted areas (high KPI/Public Complaints) to HOD.
• Report daily working status/tasks/findings and track action taken towards noncompliance findings.
• Assist/participate in conducting domestic inquiries, as a witness, prosecutor or panel member.
• Attend meetings and advise management on enforcement of policies, procedures, discipline, security, safety & health, quality management, etc.
• Liaise with government departments or represent the company on related matters.
• Perform other duties as assigned by HOD or top management.

b) Share reports/photos or any relevant information of the noncompliance findings to the relevant departments for immediate action as well to management.

c) Submit inspections planning based on targeted areas (high KPI/Public Complaints) to HOD.

d) Report daily working status/task/findings via the necessary channels as well keep track of the action taken towards the noncompliance findings.

e) Assist/ participate in conducting domestic inquires, either as a witness or prosecutor or panel member.

f) Attend meeting and advising management on matter related to enforcement of company policies & procedures, discipline, security, safety & health, quality management etc.

g) Liaise with relevant government department or representing the company on matter related to this job function.

h) Responsible for any other job functions assigned from time to time by HOD or top management.
Job Specifications
