Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Sr. Technician in Malaysia to maintain medium to large buildings and industrial systems. You will support preventive maintenance, repairs, and energy management while ensuring safety and code compliance.

The role involves troubleshooting, installing equipment, and leading by example within CBRE RISE values, with travel within Selangor & Nilai region as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or trade diploma with 2-3 years of related experience.
• Ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs or more.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repair on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems.
• Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose problems, and perform repairs.
• Assist with installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
• Assign work orders and estimate time and materials for repairs.
• Support energy management by ensuring building systems run efficiently.
• Inspect new installations for building codes and safety compliance.
• Lead by example and align with CBRE RISE values.
