Job summary

Pentrac Itron Sdn Bhd in Penang invites applications for a Calibration Engineer to calibrate and test electrical and electronic equipment in our lab. You will perform calibration, troubleshooting, and verification of equipment and generate technical documentation.

We seek a degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering, fresh graduates welcome, and candidates with 1–3 years in calibration or electronics are a plus. Willingness to travel to customer sites is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronic Engineering or a related discipline.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Candidates with 1–3 years of experience in calibration, testing or electronics are an added advantage.
• Good analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Willing to travel to customer sites when required.

Responsibilities

• Perform calibration of electrical and electronic test equipment.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and identify root causes.
• Conduct equipment verification and safety testing.
• Provide technical findings and recommendations to customers.
• Support the maintenance of calibration software and laboratory systems.
• Prepare calibration records and technical documentation.
• Ensure all work complies with quality and safety standards.
