Job summary

Infastech (M) Sdn Bhd in Seremban, Negeri Sembilan is seeking a hands-on Production Operator to operate and set up fastener manufacturing machines (cold headers, thread rollers) to produce high-quality parts according to drawings.

You will read and interpret technical drawings, perform minor repairs, document production data, and maintain safety and a clean work area while working on rotating shifts.

Qualifications

• SPM or Certificate in Mechatronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in fastener manufacturing or production environment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with basic troubleshooting capability.
• Ability to work independently and on shifts.

Responsibilities

• Operate and set up fastener manufacturing machines (e.g., cold headers, thread rollers, secondary operation machines) to produce high-quality fasteners according to specifications.
• Change machine sizes, perform minor repairs, and adjust machines and tools.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions to set up machines accurately and efficiently.
• Monitor production processes, identify deviations, and make necessary adjustments to maintain product quality and adherence to standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety regulations and company policies.
• Document production data, machine settings, and quality control results accurately.
• Possess a strong understanding of mechanical principles and the ability to work with various tools and equipment.
