Job summary

Farm Fresh Berhad is seeking a qualified Animal Health Officer to plan, coordinate, and implement the farm's health program, including vaccination and disease prevention. The role requires accurate record-keeping and close collaboration with veterinarians and the Farm Manager.

You will supervise daily farm operations, monitor herd welfare, and ensure safe, cost-effective practices while adhering to quality standards. Bachelor-level qualification and proficiency in MS Office are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in animal sciences, Animal Husbandry, or a related field.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
• Applicants must be willing to work in Farm Fresh Farm in Muadzam Shah

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and implement the farm's animal health program, including vaccination (FMD & LSD), deworming, de-ticking, disease prevention, and treatment of sick animals.
• Monitor herd health and animal welfare through routine inspections, identify health issues promptly, and coordinate with veterinarians when necessary.
• Supervise and coordinate daily farm operations to ensure work is completed efficiently, safely, cost-effectively, and in accordance with quality standards.
• Maintain accurate records related to animal health, breeding, calving, milk production, treatments, inventory, and other farm operational activities.
• Ensure proper documentation and reporting of farm activities and livestock records.
• Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the Farm Manager or Management.
