Job summary

Private Advertiser in Johor Bahru seeks a senior chemical manufacturing leader to oversee a greenfield plant from construction through commissioning and operational readiness.

You will establish production systems, SOPs, KPIs, and manufacturing processes, manage distillation and purification, lead HAZOPs and risk assessments, and build a capable team while coordinating with authorities and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or related field.
• Minimum 10 years in chemical manufacturing with 5+ years in plant leadership.
• Experience in plant construction, commissioning, expansion or new facility setup.
• Strong knowledge of distillation, purification, and chemical manufacturing processes.
• Experience with HAZOP, risk assessment, ISO 9001/14001/45001 compliance.

What We're Looking For

Bachelor's Degree or above in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or related disciplines.

Minimum 10 years of experience in chemical manufacturing, with at least 5 years in plant leadership or management roles.

Proven experience in plant construction, commissioning, expansion projects, or new facility setup.

Strong knowledge of distillation, purification processes, chemical manufacturing, and process safety management.

Experience with HAZOP, risk assessment, ISO 9001/14001/45001 implementation, and chemical industry compliance requirements.
