Job summary

PHB Facility Management Berhad seeks a Facility Technician to ensure smooth daily operations, handle helpdesk requests, execute preventive maintenance, and manage car park systems. The role requires teamwork, technical certification, and 1–3 years’ experience in mechanical/electrical fields.

You will support fire safety activities, housekeeping, and on-call responses while collaborating with supervisors and ensuring client satisfaction across facilities.

Qualifications

• Possess at least a Technical Certificate / Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical or equivalent.
• Proficient in Bahasa Malaysia and English, both written and oral.
• Able to work effectively in a team.
• Minimum 1–3 years of working experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth day-to-day facility operation and attend ad-hoc maintenance tasks.
• Address helpdesk requests, perform corrective maintenance, verify completions with users, and document for closing.
• Oversee routine maintenance/PPM, complete checklists, notify of deterioration, and submit PM reports.
• Identify parts for purchase and advise on needs.
• Assist VO opportunities and support Mechanical Supervisor for VO prep.
• Care for tools and report missing or faulty items.
• Assist in Fire Drills and Fire Safety activities; maintain housekeeping.
• Comply with company rules and regulatory requirements; work with integrity.
• Provide teamwork, remain motivated, and support operations during On-Call emergencies.
• Manage car park operations: collect charges, ensure booth/cash system works, and report issues.
• Deliver friendly customer service and prepare end-of-shift reports.
• Monitor car park security and ensure facilities are safe and functional.
• Open daily operations and troubleshoot car park system malfunctions.
• Report major malfunctions to Carpark System Manager; handle customer complaints.
• Patrol parking levels, assist visitors, and direct vehicles as needed.
• Coordinate traffic control during events and validation activities.
• Perform other related tasks as directed by the company.
