Job summary

Agensi Pekerjaan FastJob Sdn Bhd is seeking a Facility Management Technician (FMT) to support day-to-day data centre operations and ensure critical systems are maintained.

You will conduct regular inspections, monitor site operations across assigned data centres, and coordinate with M&E providers for maintenance, while providing on-site support and timely updates. Fresh graduates with relevant knowledge are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in data centre facilities management or operations
• Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical systems, HVAC, power, and fire alarms
• Ability to respond quickly and provide timely updates and escalation
• Experience in large-scale or critical environments is advantageous
• Analytical mindset with a sense of urgency
• Fresh graduates with relevant knowledge are welcome to apply
• Agile and proactive with out-of-the-box thinking

Responsibilities

• Inspect data centre facilities and equipment on a regular basis
• Monitor and manage facility operations across assigned data centre sites
• Coordinate with data centre providers for Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) maintenance
• Review maintenance schedules and ensure minimal disruption to operations
• Review maintenance documents such as MOP and Risk Assessment (RA)
• Track maintenance activities and manage Change Management requests
• Provide on-site support during scheduled maintenance and change activities
• Prepare regular reports and provide updates on ongoing activities
• Respond to facility-related incidents including power outages, HVAC issues, fire alarms and security concerns
• Provide after-hours support based on the on-call schedule

YOUR ROLE

• As a Facility Management Technician (FMT), you'll support the day-to-day facility operations
• of a data centre and ensure critical systems are properly maintained and operational.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular physical and visual inspections of data centre facilities and equipment
• Monitor and manage facility operations across assigned data centre sites
• Coordinate with data centre providers for Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) maintenance
• Review maintenance schedules and ensure minimal disruption to data centre operations
• Review maintenance documents such as MOP and Risk Assessment (RA)

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
