Job summary

PERSOL is seeking a facilities maintenance technician in Pasir Gudang, Malaysia. The role covers preventive and corrective maintenance for building facilities, including electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical systems.

You will undertake inspections, record activities, and coordinate with external vendors while adhering to safety standards. Working patterns include day and night shifts with 4-day/2-off or 5-day/2-off schedules.

Qualifications

• Minimum technical qualification with SKM3 or Diploma in Engineering or related field.
• Experience in facilities maintenance is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of electrical, mechanical or HVAC systems.
• Able to troubleshoot and perform hands-on repair work.
• Physically fit and able to work in a technical environment.
• Responsible, proactive, and able to work independently.
• Willing to work overtime or on standby if required.
• PW 1-4 and Chargeman AO4 are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance for building facilities.
• Troubleshoot and repair Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing, and Mechanical systems.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure facilities are in good condition.
• Monitor and record maintenance activities.
• Liaise with external vendors and contractors when required.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and procedures.
• Support day-to-day operations and emergency maintenance issues.
