Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated in Kulim, Malaysia, seeks a Facilities Operation Lead to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient operation of building systems. You will lead a team of technicians, manage vendors, and deliver reliable facilities services while prioritizing safety, quality, and cost control.

This role partners with the KM1/2 team and clients to meet requirements, schedule preventive maintenance, and drive continuous improvement across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and life-safety

Qualifications

• Experience leading facilities operations teams.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day operation of facilities systems (HVAC, Chillers, Power Distribution, LV/MV, Emergency Power, UPS, Gen-sets, BMS/Controls, Fire & Life Safety).
• Lead technicians, coach and schedule the team; develop competencies in safety and operations.
• Manage vendors; define scope, verify service delivery, and validate invoices; ensure SLA/KPI adherence.
• Enforce EHS policies and protocols (PTW, LOTO, Confined Space, Working at Height, Hot Work) and maintain audit readiness.
• Plan outages, shutdowns, and Testing & Commissioning activities with minimal business impact.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure timely communication and successful handovers of operations.
