Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated seeks a Facilities Operation Engineer in Penang, Malaysia, to lead shift operations in a high-demand electronics manufacturing environment. You will act as the Building In-Charge, ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient operation of facility systems during assigned shifts.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, I&C or Facilities Engineering and 3–5 years of facilities experience, with knowledge across Electrical, Mechanical, I&C and FLSS

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, I&C or Facilities Engineering.
• 3–5 years of experience in facilities or building operations.
• Fundamental knowledge across Electrical, Mechanical, I&C, Domestic/building systems and FLSS.

Responsibilities

• Lead shift technicians to ensure smooth facilities operations and act as building owner during the shift.
• Take ownership of domestic systems, lift systems, and FLSS and coordinate maintenance.
• Oversee Electrical, Mechanical, and I&C systems and support troubleshooting with engineers.
• Coordinate with vendors and authorities as required and ensure safety compliance.
• Prepare shift and incident reports and escalate critical issues with clear technical information.
