Job summary

Intel Corporation in Malaysia, Penang, seeks a Facilities Mechanical Engineer to ensure the availability, reliability, and maintenance of mechanical systems in manufacturing, clean rooms, and R&D activities. You will design, maintain, and troubleshoot systems to support daily operations, safety, and environmental objectives.

Responsibilities include owning system reliability, developing project scopes, coordinating with service providers, and ensuring compliance with EHS standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering with 5+ years in facilities mechanical systems, or 3+ years with a Master's.
• Proficiency in mechanical system design, operations and management.
• Knowledge of fire life safety systems and preventive maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Own, sustain, and improve system reliability and capacity of mechanical systems.
• Develop scopes of work for mechanical projects and conduct design reviews.
• Collaborate with internal customers and external service providers for maintenance.
• Support environmental compliance and safety audits.
• Lead continuous improvement and capacity planning for facilities.
