Job summary

Fishergold Food Industries Sdn Bhd is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Penang to perform routine maintenance and repair of facilities and building infrastructure. The ideal candidate has a minimum of SPM/Certificate/Diploma in a technical field and at least 1 year of maintenance experience, with a safety-conscious mindset and the ability to work both

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM, Certificate, or Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, Maintenance, or related field.
• At least 1 year of maintenance experience preferred; fresh graduates with relevant knowledge encouraged.
• Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, air-conditioning, and general building maintenance.
• Able to use common maintenance tools safely.
• Responsible, hardworking, and willing to learn.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repair of facilities and building infrastructure.
• Inspect and maintain electrical systems, lighting, plumbing, air-conditioning, water supply, and related equipment.
• Carry out preventive maintenance according to the maintenance schedule.
• Troubleshoot and repair facility-related issues to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Coordinate with external contractors for servicing and repair works when required.
• Maintain maintenance records and report issues to the supervisor.
• Support production and office departments with maintenance requests.
• Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor.
