Job summary

PHN Industry Sdn Bhd, a DRB-HICOM subsidiary, is seeking a fresh graduate engineer to lead facility maintenance and plant assets. You will coordinate preventive maintenance, troubleshoot systems, and manage contractors while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related engineering discipline, strong Excel reporting, and good BM/English communication. Occasional travel to sites like Bukit Beruntung, Rasa, and Tanjung Malim is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronic, or related Engineering discipline.
• Fresh graduates welcome; exposure to equipment maintenance or utilities management is an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel for reporting & tracking).
• Good communication skills in BM & English.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high sense of urgency.

Responsibilities

• Lead and monitor maintenance, servicing, and repair of key facility assets.
• Coordinate preventive and predictive maintenance for high uptime.
• Troubleshoot facility systems and provide engineering solutions during breakdowns.
• Manage service contractors and ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
• Prepare maintenance reports, performance tracking, and improvement plans.
• Develop BQ, RFQ, and technical documents for maintenance contracts and tendering.
• Ensure compliance with authority regulations (BOMBA, JKKP, DOE, local councils).
• Provide support during emergencies and extended hours when needed.
