Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Facilities Management, Property Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and maintain attention to detail.
• Proficiency in MS Office; AutoCAD is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support Day-to-Day Operations: monitor and coordinate soft services like janitorial, waste management, pantry, cafeteria, events, landscaping, pest control, transportation and lockers.
• Vendor Coordination: liaise with external service providers and track performance.
• Administrative Support: document work orders, manage inventory and assist in coordinating activities.
• Customer Service: address employee queries and improve the user experience within the facility.
• Improvements Projects: assist with ad-hoc projects and propose new ideas for soft services.

Team Highlights:

The Facilities Soft Services Intern will assist the Facilities Management team in delivering and enhancing soft services within the organization, including janitorial, waste management, pantry and cafeteria, event management, landscaping, pest control, transportation, and lockers. This role offers an opportunity to gain hands‑on experience in ensuring workplace efficiency, safety, and satisfaction.

You will:

1. Support Day-to-Day Operations:
   • Assist in monitoring and coordinating soft services area of care, such as janitorial, waste management, pantry and cafeteria services, event management, landscaping, pest control, transportation, and lockers.
   • Conduct site inspections and ensure all services meet quality standards and compliance requirements.
2. Vendor Coordination:
   • Support the team in liaising with external service providers to address issues and ensure seamless service delivery.
   • Track vendor performance and assist in gathering feedback for improvements.
3. Administrative Support:
   • Assist with documentation, work order tracking, inventory management, and other administrative tasks.
   • Help coordinate facility-related activities, such as meetings, events, or anything related to soft services task.
4. Customer Service:
   • Address employee queries related to soft services and escalated issues where needed.
   • Support initiatives to improve overall employee's experience within the facility.
5. Improvements Projects:
   • Assist in ad-hoc projects related to soft services area of responsibilities
   • Propose new fresh ideas for improvements project under soft services area of responsibilities

What makes you successful:

• You are pursuing a degree in Facilities Management, Property Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field.
• You have Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• You have Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and maintain attention to detail.
• You have Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Auto CAD is added advantages.
