Intel Corporation in Penang, Malaysia, invites motivated students for an internship in Facilities Operations. The role supports maintenance programs to achieve best-in-class safety, cost-efficiency, and ISO compliance while ensuring uninterrupted operations.

You will collaborate with the TGCM team, contribute to JHA and FMEA activities, and assist in data collection for dashboards. On-site presence is required, with shift 1 in Malaysia during the internship period.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Chemical Engineering, Physics, Material Science, Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, or related field with Chemical and Gas management.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the TGCM team to identify potential hazards in various job tasks.
• Document and analyze job processes to ensure comprehensive hazard identification.
• Support the creation and updating of JHA documentation.
• Participate in FMEA sessions to identify potential failure modes in processes or products.
• Assist in the documentation and analysis of failure modes, effects, and criticality.
• Help in developing action plans to mitigate identified risks from JHA and FMEA.
• Maintaining training, operation documents or checklist as needed.
• Collect, consolidate and arrange data from multiple sources for dashboard creation.
• Presence to work on site (no hybrid/work-from-home).
• Assignments are semi-routine with some judgement in non-standard problems.

In this position you will be supporting facilities operations to establish an effective maintenance program toward best in class in safety, cost effective, interrupt free and conformant to ISO standard. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Helping to collect, consolidate and arrange data from numerous sources for Dashboard creation.


• Any other ad-hoc operational task assigned by supervisor.


• Assignments are semi-routine in nature with work performed within generally defined parameters. Some degree of judgement required in resolving non-standard problems.


• Presence to work on site (No hybrid mode/ work from home)

Qualifications

• The candidate must be currently pursuing a degree in either Chemical Engineering, Physics, Material Science, Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field with Chemical and Gas management.
