Job summary

Colgate-Palmolive invites you to join its Facilities Engineering team as an Engineering Intern (Facility Operations) in Selangor, Malaysia, for a 6-month immersive program. You will work on IQ/OQ, process flow, SOPs, and data-driven projects on a real FMCG plant.

You will report to the Facilities Engineer, gaining hands-on experience in validation, equipment, and on-floor operations while building practical engineering skills in a global consumer goods company.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with strong academics (CGPA 3.2+ preferred).
• Available for a highly immersive internship for a minimum of 6 months.
• Solid understanding of basic mechanical or electrical engineering principles and their real-world application.

Responsibilities

• Assist in Master Equipment Validation (IQ/OQ) to ensure proper installation and operation of machinery.
• Map and analyze process flows to identify bottlenecks and optimization opportunities.
• Develop SOPs and engineering documentation for use on the shop floor.
• Support data collection efforts and maintain the core engineering database.
