Job summary

Qimu Facade Sdn Bhd seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead facade and curtain wall projects across Singapore and Taiwan, coordinating from award through fabrication, installation and handover. You will manage schedule, cost, quality, manpower and progress, while liaising with developers, contractors, architects, consultants and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, Building, Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant project management experience, preferably with strong facade / curtain wall experience.
• Strong experience in Curtain Wall, Unitized Facade, Aluminium Cladding, Glazing, Aluminium Windows & Doors or related facade systems.
• Proven experience managing projects from design coordination through fabrication, installation and handover.
• Strong knowledge of shop drawings, fabrication, installation and facade project coordination.
• Good understanding of project scheduling, cost control, quality control and site management.
• Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple project requirements.
• Must be willing to work and be based on-site in Singapore and/or Taiwan when required by the project.
• Willing to relocate to Singapore or Taiwan for the duration of the project.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage facade and curtain wall projects from project award through fabrication, installation and final handover.
• Take overall responsibility for project schedule, cost, quality, manpower and progress.
• Coordinate with developers, main contractors, architects, consultants, suppliers and subcontractors.
• Manage shop drawings, technical submissions, material submissions and project approvals.
• Coordinate closely with the Malaysia factory and production team to ensure fabrication and delivery meet project requirements.
• Manage site installation, site coordination and project execution.
• Monitor workmanship, quality and compliance with project specifications.
• Identify and resolve technical, coordination and site issues.
• Manage variations, claims, project costs and contractual matters.
• Conduct project meetings and provide regular progress reports to management.
