Job summary

Intel Malaysia is seeking an Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Engineer to ensure compliance with local regulations and Intel standards. You will lead safety programs, perform risk assessments, and implement corrective actions to protect employees and the environment.

The role requires collaboration across teams, training delivery, and support for construction and facility projects, with a focus on audits and continuous safety improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level technical degree in a relevant field.
• 5+ years of experience in EHS roles.
• Proficiency in risk assessments, exposure monitoring, and safety audits.
• Familiarity with ISO 45001 and local/regional EHS regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage EHS programs such as industrial hygiene, hazard communication, safety audits, and employee training.
• Conduct risk assessments and environmental evaluations to identify hazards and ensure regulatory and Intel standards compliance.
• Perform workplace exposure monitoring and document findings.
• Investigate accidents to identify root causes and propose corrective actions.
• Support construction and facility projects by identifying safety risks and ensuring EHS compliance.
• Develop and deliver training on emergency procedures and hazard prevention.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze EHS data and drive improvements.
