Job summary

EPF Malaysia is seeking an Executive for Workplace Engineering to lead endpoint platforms and device management at enterprise scale.

You will drive OS modernization, patch governance, and automation using PowerShell and Intune, while ensuring security, compliance, and alignment with ISP frameworks. Collaboration across departments is essential to deliver integrated workplace solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or IT recognized by government.
• Minimum 2–4 years in End-User Computing in enterprise settings.
• Security certifications such as Microsoft Endpoint Administrator or Azure beneficial.
• Ability to work independently with good communication and presentation skills.
• Hands-on with Intune, SCCM/MECM, Azure AD/Entra ID and AD DS.

JOB SUMMARY

Executive for Workplace Engineering role involves researching, developing, testing, and designing endpoint platforms, device management solutions, collaboration tools, and automation initiatives.

This is to ensures that workplace technologies are reliable, secure, compliant, and aligned with technology requirements, business requirements, operational standards, and strategic direction.

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Endpoint Platform Ownership

• Provide oversight for Windows and macOS at enterprise scale.
• Drive lifecycle management, OS modernization, patching governance, and compliance.
• Ensure quality, stability, and performance of endpoint configurations and device experiences.

2. Modern Device Management & Automation

• Optimization of modern device management platforms via Microsoft Intune.
• Promote Zero-Touch provisioning (Autopilot) and automation-first operations.
• Oversee automation frameworks using PowerShell, Batch script.

3. Security, Compliance & Risk Management

• Work closely with Digital Security Department (DSD) to ensure alignment with Zero Trust, identity security, device hardening, and compliance frameworks.
• Oversee enforcement of Conditional Access, device compliance, and OS security baselines.
• Ensure workplace technologies meet ISP.

4. Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Partner within DTD and business units to deliver integrated workplace solutions.
• Provide advisory on workplace technology on integration decision.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

• Malaysian citizen
• Passed the Malay Language (including oral test) at Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) level.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent which is recognized by the Government from any local or abroad higher learning institution in related field of study or qualification in related field of stud, accredited by the Malaysia Government.
• Minimum 2 - 4 years of experience in the End-User Computing (EUC) domain within an enterprise environment.
• Relevant endpoint industry certifications such as Microsoft Endpoint Administrator, Microsoft Azure, or equivalent.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, and good communication, coordination, meeting and presentation skills.
• Proven hands-on and architectural experience with Microsoft Intune, SCCM/MECM, and identity platforms including Azure AD / Entra ID and Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS).
• Experience managing enterprise-scale Windows and macOS environments, including device lifecycle management and policy enforcement.
• Strong background in security compliance, endpoint hardening, Conditional Access, and endpoint security solutions aligned with organizational standards.
• Demonstrated experience in automation and scripting, including PowerShell and batch scripting, to streamline endpoint operations and reduce manual effort.
