Job summary

Sika Kimia Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a Planning/Manufacturing professional to support MRP, forecast updates, and inventory monitoring within the APAC region. You will coordinate with procurement, warehouse, and meter teams to ensure timely supply and optimal working capital.

The role requires collaboration across Sales, Target Market teams, and 3rd party suppliers, with a focus on maintaining ISO-standard planning processes and accurate demand plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field required.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Good written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support and monitor MRP and forecast updates in the planning system.
• Participate in monthly Demand Review Meetings and support sales forecast planning with Sales and Target Market teams.
• Monitor inventory levels and product availability to support sales demand and working capital targets.
• Follow up on replenishment activities, Purchase Orders, and supplier deliveries to ensure timely supply.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Warehouse, and other internal teams on planning and supply related matters.
• Support order management and planning activities for Inter Company and 3rd Party products.
• Identify slow moving items and coordinate with relevant stakeholders for follow up actions.
• Ensure planning activities are carried out in accordance with company procedures and ISO standards.

Job Description

• Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin will be an added advantage.
• Familiar with ERP systems such as SAP or Microsoft Dynamics Axapta.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Good analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills.
• Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Understanding of operational KPIs and their impact on overall business performance.
