Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an accountant to handle full set of accounting including accounts payable and receivable, cash book and general ledger entries. You will assist in monitoring annual budgets, revenue forecasts, and operating costs, and prepare monthly closings of accounts for timely submission to Management.

You will also handle statutory audits and taxation matters, ensuring compliance, while liaising with auditors, tax agents and bankers. Ad-hoc tasks may be assigned by your supervisor.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting or related field required.
• 2+ years of experience in accounting, full set accounts preferred.
• Experience with month-end closing and tax computation.
• Experience in a computerized accounting environment and group reporting is an advantage.

Job Requirements

Candidates must possess a Degree in Accounting or any relevant courses.

Minimum 2 years of experience in Accounting, experience in full set accounts is preferred.

Month end closing and tax computation.

Good command of Microsoft office applications.

Experienced working in computerized accounting environment.

Group reporting experience is an added advantage.
