Job summary

Angsana Tunas in Shah Alam is seeking an experienced Accountant to handle the full set of accounts, manage daily transactions and prepare monthly financial reports.

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma/Degree in Accounting with at least 3 years of relevant experience, capable of working independently and meeting deadlines with strong Excel and accounting software skills.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Must have experience handling full set of accounts.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Good knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Good attention to detail and able to meet deadlines.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle full set of accounts independently.
• Manage daily accounting transactions, including AP, AR and General Ledger.

• Perform bank and account reconciliations.
• Handle invoicing, payments, receipts and journal entries.
• Monitor outstanding payments and follow up with customers/suppliers.
• Assist with monthly closing and year-end closing.
• Prepare documents and schedules for audit and tax purposes.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, banks and other relevant parties.
• Ensure proper filing and maintenance of accounting records.
• Assist in other finance and accounting matters as assigned by Management.
