Job summary

Tan Chong Motor Holdings Berhad invites a results-driven supply chain professional to manage end-to-end KD ordering, vehicle supply flow, and sales planning to optimize inventory and meet market demand.

You will forecast monthly, quarterly, and yearly demand, monitor KD, WIP, and finished vehicles, and coordinate with manufacturing, logistics, and finance to maintain smooth operations and accurate reporting.

Qualifications

• Proficient in forecasting and data analysis using Excel/ERP.
• Strong coordination and management capabilities.
• Detail-oriented with problem-solving skills.
• Preferred: OEM exposure; willingness to learn even without prior experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage KD parts ordering with principal/OEM to ensure timely supply.
• Oversee vehicle flow planning from production to dealer distribution.
• Develop and execute monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales planning and forecasting.
• Monitor inventory levels (KD, WIP, finished vehicles) and optimize stock turnover.
• Coordinate with manufacturing, logistics, sales, and finance for supply-demand alignment.
• Track market demand trends, dealer orders, and retail performance.
• Prepare production planning inputs aligned with plant capacity.
• Ensure import regulations, customs, and documentation compliance for KD operations.
• Identify supply chain risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Generate regular reports on forecast accuracy, inventory health, and supply performance.

To manage end-to-end KD ordering, vehicle supply flow, and sales planning to ensure optimal inventory levels, smooth operations, and alignment with market demand and business targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage KD parts ordering in coordination with principal/OEM to ensure timely supply aligned with production and sales plans.
• Oversee vehicle flow planning from production, importation, logistics, to dealer distribution.
• Develop and execute sales planning and forecasting (monthly, quarterly, yearly).
• Monitor inventory levels (KD, WIP, finished vehicles) and optimize stock turnover.
• Coordinate closely with manufacturing, logistics, sales, and finance teams to ensure supply-demand alignment.
• Track and analyze market demand trends, dealer orders, and retail performance.
• Prepare production planning inputs and align with plant capacity and constraints.
• Ensure compliance with import regulations, customs, and documentation for KD operations.
• Identify risks in the supply chain and implement mitigation strategies (shortages, overstock, delays).
• Generate regular reports on sales forecast accuracy, inventory health, and supply performance.
