Responsible for directing the manufacturing operations performed in a shift or group of production lines, ensuring they reach volume, quality, and cost goals.
Determine manufacturing processes and calculate machine and operator loads.
To manage the daily production routine (planning, headcount, products, etc.) with the main goal of delivering the target output while focusing on workplace safety, behavior, and product quality.
To meet the needs of the counterpart/customer demands and requirements, as well as manage quality issues.
To support the Technical Executive on issues related to raw part manufacturing and liaise with Engineering and/or Instrument Production.
To manage or support tasks related to all relevant documents.
The job function listed is not exhaustive and shall also include any responsibilities as assigned by the Supervisor from time to time.
Bachelor's Degree in Manufacturing/Mechanical/Material Science, or a related field.
A minimum of 3 to 5 years of hands‑on experience is required.
Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply for the junior executive level.
Understanding production demand and meeting customer requirements.
Familiarity with metal material flow and its characteristics.
Ability to solve problems by applying theoretical knowledge to practical implementation.
Proficient in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI).
Knowledge of the stamping and pressing processes for metal parts is a valuable asset.
Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles.
Experience in dealing with counterparts, customers, and suppliers.
Understanding of ISO 13485, FDA, and GMP standards and experience with quality control tools (e.g., 8D, CAPA, SPC) and audit readiness.
Strong communication and problem‑solving skills to manage cross‑functional collaboration. Positively influence the team members to strive for excellence.
Experience in medical device manufacturing is a major advantage due to regulatory complexity.
Proven experience working in a people‑centric production setting, with a strong focus on teamwork, communication, discipline, and employee engagement.
Strong capability in managing a large headcount of operators and technicians, including manpower planning, shift arrangement, performance monitoring, and discipline control.
Preferably, having a good understanding of production demand and meeting customer requirements.
