Job summary

Big Pharmacy Healthcare Sdn Bhd is seeking an Executive, Product Development (Health Food Category) to oversee inventory-related activities across stores and warehouses. The role emphasizes cycle counts, audits, data accuracy, and process standardization in a growing health-food portfolio.

You will collaborate with store staff and regional teams to implement improvements, analyze trends, and ensure compliance with SOPs while maintaining data integrity in item master records.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in the equivalent field.
• Good in mathematics and computer literate, especially in Google Workspace.
• Min 1-2 years of relevant working experience in the related field preferably in retail industry.
• Well versed with Inventory Management concept and logic.
• Independent and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to travel outstation.
• Posses own transportation (Car).

Responsibilities

• Provide effective, timely, and solution-oriented support on all inventory related matters across stores and warehouse operations.
• Plan and coordinate cycle counts and full stock takes, manage timelines and follow up on discrepancies.
• Conduct periodic store audits and system audits for SOP compliance and inventory controls.
• Identify gaps, risks, and non-compliance, propose corrective actions and prevent recurrence.
• Monitor audit findings and drive continuous improvements in operational compliance.
• Develop, review, and standardize inventory guidelines, SOPs, and working instructions.
• Maintain item master data, clean duplicates, standardize descriptions, validate fields.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve inventory issues and implement new processes/tools.
• Analyze inventory data, generate reports to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
• Provide training and support to store personnel on inventory processes and system usage.

Executive, Product Development (Health Food Category)

Provide effective, timely, and solution-oriented support on all inventory related matters across stores and warehouse operations, ensuring minimal disruption to daily business activities.

Plan and coordinate cycle counts and full stock takes, including resource arrangement, timeline management, and follow-up on discrepancies to ensure accuracy of inventory records.

Conduct periodic store audits and system audits to assess compliance with company Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), internal controls, and inventory management best practices.

Identify gaps, risks, and non-compliance issues during audits, and suggest appropriate corrective and preventive actions to address root causes and prevent recurrence.

Monitor and follow up on audit findings, ensuring timely closure and continuous improvement in operational compliance across all locations.

Develop, review, and standardize inventory-related guidelines, SOPs, and working instructions to ensure consistency and clarity in execution across all operations.

Involve in item master data maintenance, including clean-up of duplicate item codes, standardization of item descriptions, and validation of critical fields to ensure data accuracy and prevent stock discrepancies.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve inventory issues, improve system functionality, and support implementation of new processes or tools.

Analyze inventory data and generate reports to identify trends, discrepancies, and improvement opportunities, supporting management decision‑making.

Provide guidance, training, and support to store personnel on inventory processes, audit requirements, and system usage to ensure proper understanding and compliance.

Job Specifications:

Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, advanced/ Higher/ Graduate Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree in the equivalent field.

Good in mathematics and computer literate, especially in Google Workspace.

Min 1-2 years of relevant working experience in the related field preferably in retail industry.

Well versed with Inventory Management concept and logic.

Independent and able to work with minimal supervision.

Must be able to travel outstation.
