Job description

You will be part of the pricing division of the Pricing and Analytics team, responsible for performing pricing, portfolio analysis and monitoring as well as various data analytics initiatives involving Machine Learning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Pricing – Responsible for product pricing and preparation of the necessary product documentation reports for internal records and external filing purposes.
  • Monitoring – Responsible for monitoring the performance of specific portfolios together with regular reporting to senior management. This also includes monitoring of industry trends and its impact on MSIG’s business.
  • Analytics – Responsible in supporting various data analytics projects in sales, underwriting and claims.
Requirements

Bachelor's degree in actuarial science or related field.

Good exam progression with either the Casualty Actuarial Society (USA) / Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (UK) / Institute of Actuaries of Australia (Australia).

Proficient in MS Office 365 applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

  • Can demonstrate basic working knowledge of SAS and Tableau.
  • This knowledge is preferred but is not compulsory. Candidates without this knowledge are also encouraged to apply if they fulfill the other pre-requisites and can demonstrate a willingness to learn.
