Job summary

Top Glove, the world’s largest glove manufacturer, invites a proactive logistics coordinator to join our team in Malaysia. You will liaise with internal departments, shipping agents, and logistics providers to ensure shipments stay on schedule and costs are optimized.

You will prepare monthly reports, monitor operations, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives while supporting sales targets and market studies as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in logistics coordination or shipping planning.
• Ability to liaise with internal departments and external agents.
• Analytical mindset for market studies and cost improvement.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate shipments with internal departments to ensure on-time delivery.
• Communicate with shipping agents and logistics providers for arrangements.
• Monitor shipments and prepare monthly reports.
• Support continuous improvement for services and costs.
• Assist in achieving sales activity targets and perform market research.
• Source and negotiate rates where required.

Your Mission:

• Liaising with internal departments to ensure shipments are on schedule.
• Liaising and coordinating with shipping agents/ logistics company for shipments arrangement.
• Close shipments monitoring.
• Work with team members to complete duties as and when needed.
• Prepare monthly reports.
• Strong and persistent driver of continuos improvement for both services and costs.
• Responsible for the sales activity targets.
• Doing market studies and analysis.
• Rates sourcing and negotiation.
• Shall take additional responsibility as instructed by the immediate superior.
• The scope of authority shall refer to the selected work process procedure instruction.
