Job summary

KPJ Penang Specialist Hospital is seeking a marketing and public relations professional to enhance the hospital's image and profitability through engaging campaigns and promotions.

You will support the marketing department with events, promotions, and visitor communications, ensuring a welcoming environment and accurate information for patients and visitors. Applicants should have a degree/diploma in Marketing/PR and at least 2 years' experience in sales and marketing, preferably healthcare.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Marketing/PR or Mass Communication.
• Strong written and spoken English; Bahasa Malaysia an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assist in marketing and promotional activities for KPJ Penang.
• Organise hospital events and festivals to boost visibility.
• Greet visitors and provide information and comfort.
• Support safety and reporting as required by management.

SUMMARY OF DUTIES

To achieve an excellent all round public relations, publicity and promotions towards enhancing the hospital’s image and profitability. To assist in executing marketing and promotional activities in making KPJ Penang as the public and corporate preferred medical centre for treatment.

MAIN DUTIES RESPONSIBILITIES

To give idea and undertake any other public relation related activities of the hospital Creating hospital events during festivals, annual occasions and other similar events. Receiving and entertaining of visitors during their visits and providing them with the related information and comfort during their visit or stay. To accomplish the marketing department assignments on given project or activities To undertake any other job as may be assigned by the Management from time to time To take reasonable care at workplace for the safety of oneself, others and to comply with any instruction or measure on occupational safety, health and environment as required. Report all accidents / incidents and hazard to the superior and complete the Incident Report Form for each accident / incident

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

• Degree / Diploma in Marketing/PR or Mass Communication
• Basic Course in Microsoft Office or its equivalent
• Fluency in written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED MINIMUM

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in Sales & Marketing environment
• Preferred 2 years’ experience gained in an operational healthcare setting.
