POSITION GENERAL SUMMARY

Drive operational excellence by leading continuous improvement initiatives across Engineering MAHB. Leverage Engineering World Class Maintenance (WCM) and Lean Six Sigma (LSS) methodologies to identify inefficiencies, optimise processes and deliver measurable results.

ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS

  • Lead, facilitate, and support WCM and LSS project initiatives, including project registration, training, coaching, and audits.
  • Assist the WCM Champion with activities and tasks related to WCM, LSS, and the continuous improvement programme.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and operational excellence by identifying and sharing best practices across departments.
  • Monitor, measure, and report on the impact of improvement projects, providing actionable recommendations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to implement sustainable solutions and strategic initiatives that enhance Engineering business performance.
  • Utilise digital tools and emerging technologies to lead and support digitalisation projects, driving efficiency, automation, and data-driven decision-making for assigned airport systems and facilities.
  • Leverage LSS principles and QC tools to drive data-driven project management, improve process efficiency, and deliver measurable results in assigned initiatives.
  • Benchmark against industry best practices to drive standardisation, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
  • High dependency on IT system performance.
  • Create and sustain an improvement culture across MAHB
  • Keep abreast with the latest technology and best practices in the industries.
  • Reliable data availability for required analysis

Education
  • Bachelor's Degree Electrical / Electronic / Civil / Mechanical Engineering

  • Hands-on experience with Lean Management and/or Lean Six Sigma.
  • Registered with Board of Engineers of Malaysia (BEM)
  • Member of the Institute of Engineers Malaysia (IEM)
