AIMAX HEALTHCARE SDN. BHD. is seeking an experienced Executive - Compounding to join our glove manufacturing team. You will monitor and control the latex/ rubber compounding process, ensure raw materials are prepared and mixed per formulation, and maintain accurate records.
The role requires 2–5 years in compounding, a chemical engineering/chemistry related degree, and strong analytical, troubleshooting and teamwork skills. Overtime or shifts may be required in a manufacturing environment.
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Executive - Compounding to join our manufacturing team in glove manufacturing.
Monitor and control the latex/rubber compounding process according to approved formulations and production requirements.
Ensure all chemicals and raw materials are prepared, weighed, and mixed according to the specified formulation.
Monitor compounding parameters such as mixing time, temperature, viscosity, pH, TSC and other relevant specifications.
Conduct and monitor routine testing of compounded latex/rubber to ensure it meets quality requirements.
Troubleshoot compounding-related issues and take appropriate corrective actions.
Work closely with Production, Quality Control/Quality Assurance, R&D and Maintenance teams to resolve production and quality issues.
Maintain proper records and documentation related to compounding activities.
Ensure compliance with SOPs, work instructions, safety requirements and quality standards.
Monitor chemical usage and minimize wastage while maintaining product quality.
Assist in reviewing and improving compounding processes, formulations and production efficiency.
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Polymer Science, Rubber Technology, or a related field.
2-5 years of relevant experience in compounding, preferably in the rubber/latex or glove manufacturing industry.
Good knowledge of latex/rubber compounding processes and chemical handling.
Familiar with laboratory testing and quality parameters related to compounded latex/rubber.
Good analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Able to work independently as well as in a team.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Able to work in a manufacturing environment and handle production-related issues.
Willing to work overtime or shifts when required.
