Job summary

DKSH Management Ltd. in Kuala Lumpur invites an Executive, Accounts Payable to coordinate and supervise accounts payable activities, ensuring governance, accuracy, and timely monthly closings in line with SAP-based workflows.

You will deliver AP services within SLA, support operating budgets, implement controls, and lead a team toward continuous improvement and automation. A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance and SAP experience are preferred, with strong attention to detail and English

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or related discipline.
• Demonstrate good working knowledge of business and industry.
• Proven experience with accounts payable and accounting standards.
• SAP accounting applications experience is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and basic analytical skills.
• Proficient in Office productivity tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Fluent in local language and ideally English, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Accounts Payable processing services within SLA as defined.
• Support day-to-day expenditures against budgets to ensure efficiency.
• Implement AP processes and internal controls for governance.
• Supervise recording of AP transactions for timely monthly/yearly close.
• Coordinate continuous improvement to streamline AP processes and automation.
• Guide the team to achieve goals and develop capabilities.
• Promote self-learning and DKSH behavior within AP functions.

About The Role

Coordinate and supervise accounts payable, including the implementation of processes and internal controls to ensure governance over the Accounts Payable function

What You Will Deliver

• Deliver Accounts Payable(AP) processing services within agreed quality, service levels and KPI targets as defined in Service Level Agreement (SLA)
• Support superior in managing day-to-day operating expenditures against operating budgets to ensure efficient usage of resources
• Implement accounts payable processes and internal controls to ensure governance over the Accounts Payable function
• Supervise the recording of all accounts payable transactions to ensure timely and accurate monthly and yearly accounts payable closing.
• Coordinate and execute continuous improvement initiatives to streamline existing accounts payable processes and improve efficiencies through better utilization of automated systems
• Guide team to ensure effective delivery of team's goals (where applicable)
• Drive learning and development of team in the area of Accounts Payable and DKSH behavior to achieve team/function goals (where applicable)
• Drive self-learning and improvement in the area of Accounts Payable and DKSH behavior as part of continuous learning.

What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or a related discipline (preferred)
• Demonstrate good working knowledge and understanding of the business and industry
• Demonstrate a good working knowledge in managing accounts payable and application of local/international accounting standards, principles and practices
• Proven hands-on experience in SAP accounting applications is an advantage
• Demonstrate strong attention to detail and basic analytical skills
• Demonstrate proficiencies in office productivity tools (e.g. Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
• Demonstrate fluency in local language and ideally in English, both written and spoken
