Job summary

Park Hyatt Kuala Lumpur is seeking a talented Sous Chef - Events Western Kitchen to support the smooth operation of the Western kitchen. You will help plan, organize, direct, and control event menus and banquet services while aligning with Hyatt brand standards and guest expectations.

You will lead a team, uphold kitchen hygiene, manage large-scale events, and collaborate with culinary and service colleagues to ensure exceptional dining experiences.

Qualifications

• Malaysian Citizens or Permanent Residents only.
• Apprenticeship or professional diploma/degree in Culinary Education.
• 2+ years as Sous Chef - Events Western Kitchen or 4 years as Chef de Partie - Events Western Kitchen in international hotels or F&B.
• Solid knowledge of kitchen hygiene and safety standards.
• Experience in menu planning and event banquets.
• Strong leadership, organizational and interpersonal skills.
