Job summary

Charles Taylor seeks an experienced R2R professional in Malaysia to support UK/Europe entities. You will handle month-end close, balance sheet reconciliations, inter-company accounting, and tax-related activities, aligning to European hours (3pm-11pm/12pm-8pm).

You will work with the UK & Europe Financial Accountant Manager and the Business Partnering team to ensure accurate reporting and statutory compliance.

Qualifications

• Semi-Qualified / Qualified Accountant with 5 years minimum commercial accounting experience.
• Strong accounting, analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
• Fluent English communication and effective collaboration with diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Become the financial point of contact for UK/Europe entities in R2R.
• Own accounting and financial reporting and maintain ledgers accurately.
• Conduct monthly close and deliver financials for consolidation.
• Manage monthly balance sheet reconciliations and audit readiness.
• Perform inter-company reconciliations, recharges, and revaluations.
• Carry out multi-currency bank reconciliations and depreciation review.
