Job summary

Luxoft is seeking a skilled ETL/Data Warehouse Developer to join a newly setup technology center in Kuala Lumpur for a major bank client. You will design, develop and maintain ETL workflows using Informatica, build and optimize data integration across Oracle/SQL Server environments, and support GDW data quality and reporting needs.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in ETL / Data Warehouse development.
• Strong hands-on experience in Informatica ETL.
• Good experience with Oracle and/or SQL Server databases.
• Strong SQL skills for data extraction and transformation.
• Experience in Shell scripting.
• Working knowledge of Operating Systems: AS400, Linux, and Windows environments.
• Understanding of data warehouse concepts (ETL, data modelling, data flows).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL workflows using Informatica.
• Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading from multiple source systems.
• Develop reusable ETL components and mappings.
• Work on Global Data Warehouse (GDW) systems and ensure data consistency, integrity, and availability.
• Write and optimize SQL queries (Oracle / SQL Server).
• Perform data validation and reconciliation and handle large volumes of structured data.
• Participate in SIT/UAT testing cycles and support deployment and release activities.
• Provide L2 production support for ETL and data warehouse issues and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
