Job summary

Luxoft is seeking a skilled ETL/Data Warehouse consultant to join a newly setup technology centre in Kuala Lumpur. The role involves designing, developing, and supporting ETL workflows with Informatica, ensuring data integrity across GDW, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement data solutions.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in ETL / Data Warehouse development.
• Strong hands-on experience in Informatica ETL.
• Good experience with Oracle and/or SQL Server databases.
• Strong SQL skills for data extraction and transformation.
• Experience in Shell scripting
• Working knowledge of Operating Systems: AS400, Linux, and Windows environments.
• Understanding of data warehouse concepts (ETL, data modelling, data flows)

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL workflows using Informatica.
• Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading from multiple source systems.
• Develop reusable ETL components and mappings.
• Work on Global Data Warehouse (GDW) systems.
• Ensure data consistency, integrity, and availability.
• Support enhancements and change requests.
• Write and optimize SQL queries (Oracle / SQL Server).
• Perform data validation and reconciliation.
• Handle large volumes of structured data.
• Optimize ETL jobs for better performance and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot performance bottlenecks in ETL and database queries.
• Participate in SIT/UAT testing cycles.
• Validate data accuracy and transformation logic.
• Support deployment and release activities.
• Provide L2 support for ETL and data warehouse issues.
• Troubleshoot job failures and data discrepancies.
• Work with cross-functional teams for issue resolution.
