Job summary

Michael Page is partnering with a multinational client in Asia to recruit an ESG Data Analyst. This role leads end-to-end ESG reporting across Environmental, Social and Governance pillars and consolidates data from multiple units and regions.

You will ensure adherence to major frameworks (GRI, ESRS, ISSB, TCFD) and own disclosures, while developing dashboards with Power BI and Tableau. Strong communication across stakeholders is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Data Science, Finance or related discipline.
• 3-5 years of ESG reporting experience, ideally owning full reporting cycles.
• Practical experience with at least one ESG framework (GRI, ESRS, ISSB, or TCFD).
• Broad exposure across Environmental, Social and Governance topics, not just one pillar.
• Strong understanding of ESG data collection, validation, reporting and regulatory compliance.
• Experience managing sustainability metrics including carbon emissions, waste, energy usage and social governance indicators.
• Advanced Excel skills; exposure to Power BI, Tableau, SQL advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills to engage regional and global stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with global ESG leadership on sustainability initiatives.

Job Description

• Own reporting processes, ESG disclosures and sustainability reporting submissions.
• Analyse ESG performance data and identify trends, risks and opportunities for improvement.
• Manage carbon accounting data including Scope 1, Scope 2 and Scope 3 emissions reporting.
• Support the development of ESG dashboards, reports and visualisations using reporting tools such as Power BI.
• Coordinate with regional stakeholders to improve ESG data quality, governance and audit readiness.
• Work closely with global ESG leadership to support sustainability initiatives and reporting requirements.

The Successful Applicant

A successful ESG Data Analyst should have:

• Bachelor's Degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Data Science, Finance or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3-5 years of ESG reporting experience, ideally with ownership of full reporting cycles.
• Practical experience with at least one recognised ESG framework such as GRI, ESRS, ISSB or TCFD.
• Broad exposure across Environmental, Social and Governance topics rather than a single ESG pillar.
• Strong understanding of ESG data collection, validation, reporting and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Experience managing sustainability metrics including carbon emissions, waste, energy usage and social governance indicators.
• Advanced Excel skills with exposure to Power BI, Tableau, SQL or other reporting tools advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage regional and global stakeholders.
