Job summary

Linaco Group of Companies, headquartered in Shah Alam, Malaysia, seeks a capable Power BI specialist to design and deliver BI solutions aligned with business processes. You will work with ERP Infor M3 data flows, transform data into actionable insights, and perform unit testing with thorough documentation.

The role emphasizes independent work, timely delivery, and strong interpersonal communication to support decision making and user acceptance testing across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• >> Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent; strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• << Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• << Required skill(s): Power BI – Power Query Editor, DAX functions, Power BI Development (Desktop), Data Visualization and Microsoft Excel knowledge.
• << Strong proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio, Microsoft SQL Server, including T-SQL queries, functions, and stored procedures.
• << At least 5 years of working experience with Microsoft SQL Database, Power BI Development and support.
• << Able to work independently to meet tight deadlines, resourceful and multi-task.
• << Good interpersonal skill and with proven ability in troubleshooting and problem solving.
• << Able to travel when required.

Responsibilities

• Develop solutions in Power BI platform according to design and delivery best practices within timeframe given.
• Understand processes and data flows of ERP Infor M3 systems.
• Turn data into critical information and knowledge to support decision making.
• Conduct unit testing of the solution and peer review to ensure information is accurate and reliable.
• Provide documentation of the build.
• Periodically reviews the availability and frequency of usage of the published reports.
• Support integration and user acceptance testing.
• Fixing error and deployment to live environment.
• Work closely with system users and deliver the project on schedule.
• Develop and demonstrate a high level of ethics, care for users that can meet or exceed expectations.
