Job summary

Renesas Electronics in Penang is seeking a hands-on technician to join our Test Manufacturing support team. You will perform setup, repair, and maintenance on test equipment and assist in improvement projects to boost hardware performance.

The role welcomes fresh graduates and requires handling 12-hour rotating day/night shifts. Strong attendance, independence, and a willingness to learn are essential, with good English and Bahasa Malaysia communication skills.

Qualifications

Diploma or higher in Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.
Fresh graduates encouraged; backend semiconductor experience in Backend (Final Test) is a plus.
Able to work ABC 12-hour rotating shifts (day/night).
Good attendance, responsible, and willing to learn.
Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Responsibilities

Carry out setup, handler conversion, repair, and maintenance for test equipment used by Test Manufacturing.
Support Maintenance Engineers in improvement projects to enhance handler and test hardware performance.
Provide feedback and analysis on test hardware weaknesses to identify improvement opportunities.
Participate in 5S activitiesand ensurecompliance with safety SOPs on the production floor.
