Job summary

MeHow Medical (M) Sdn Bhd in Penang invites a Mechanical Engineer to join our manufacturing team. You will support installation, maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of production equipment in a plastic injection molding environment.

You will work with China HQ on equipment transfers and exchange technical information between China and Malaysia teams, ensure safety and quality compliance, and help maintain records and support continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree/Certificate in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related fields.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Interest in equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and manufacturing technology.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Hands-on, responsible, and willing to learn.
• Willing to work in a plastic injection molding/manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the installation, maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of production equipment.
• Support preventive maintenance and routine equipment inspections.
• Assist in troubleshooting mechanical and electrical equipment issues.
• Monitor equipment performance and support continuous improvement activities.
• Maintain equipment maintenance records and documentation.
• Support equipment upgrades, modifications, and commissioning activities.
• Coordinate with China HQ on equipment transfer, installation, and technical information.
• Support communication and technical information exchange between China and Malaysia teams.
• Ensure maintenance activities comply with safety and quality requirements.
