Job summary

Linergy Power Sdn Bhd is seeking an Equipment Engineer to support new production line setups, manage equipment maintenance, and lead continuous improvement activities to reduce downtime and boost efficiency.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering field, 2+ years in electronics manufacturing, and solid knowledge of mechanical and electrical fundamentals. Strong problem-solving and a hands-on approach are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or related fields.
• Minimum 2 years of equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, or improvement experience in a large-scale electronics manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical fundamentals.
• Familiar with mechanical drawings, tolerance analysis, and engineering problem-solving methods.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks or other engineering design software is an added advantage.
• Candidates with lithium battery, electronics, semiconductor, or automation experience are preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a hands-on attitude for a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Support new production line setup including equipment installation and commissioning.
• Develop and implement maintenance plans, lead failure analyses, and drive OEE improvements.
• Drive equipment upgrades, process capability, and yield improvement initiatives.
• Participate in failure analysis for customer complaints related to defective products or projects.
• Control and optimize costs related to tools, fixtures, and equipment maintenance.
• Collaborate with production, process, quality, and other departments to ensure stable equipment performance.

• Develop and implement equipment maintenance plans, lead failure analysis, downtime improvement, and OEE improvement activities.
• Drive equipment technical upgrades, process capability improvement, and yield improvement initiatives.
• Participate in failure analysis and improvement actions for customer complaints related to defective products or project issues.
• Control and optimize costs related to tools, fixtures, and equipment maintenance.
• Work closely with production, process, quality, and other related departments to ensure stable equipment performance and continuous improvement.
