Texas Instruments Incorporated in Melaka is seeking an Equipment Engineer to evaluate and select cost-effective manufacturing equipment and oversee installation, upgrades and maintenance. You will monitor equipment performance, drive uptime improvements and support repair and process engineering teams.

Preferred qualifications include AMAT PVD/TxZ chamber knowledge, vacuum systems understanding, and strong communication and teamwork skills.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• GPA 3.0/4.0 or higher.
• Fresh graduates or <2 years of experience welcome to apply.

Responsibilities include:

• Evaluate, select, and order equipment that is most appropriate and cost effective for the manufacture of company products
• Oversee the installation, modification, upgrade and maintenance of manufacturing equipment
• Keep current on equipment manufacturers' technical notices, upgrades and safety issues
• Study equipment performance and reliability
• Establish programs and solutions for increasing uptime and for equipment problems that affect the manufacturing process
• Provide technical support to the manufacturing equipment repair and process engineering organizations
• Define and write preventative maintenance schedules

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials, Physics or related engineering degree
• Cumulative 3.0/4.0 GPA, or higher
• Fresh graduates or less than 2 years of working experience are welcome to apply

Preferred qualifications:

• Knowledge of AMAT PVD and/or AMAT TxZ chambers equipment
• Knowledge of PVD, CVD, high vacuum and/or ultra high vacuum
• Knowledge of other equipment (e.g., AMAT, Veeco, TEL, Novellus, and/or ASM)
• Understanding of tool monitoring and interdiction software, and equipment maintenance and documentation
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated strong analytical, critical thinking and problem solving skills
• Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions
• Ability to take the initiative and drive for results
• Strong time management skills that enable on-time project delivery
• Ability to work effectively in an interrupt-driven, fast-paced and rapidly changing environment
• Demonstrated ability to build strong, influential relationships
