Job summary

Micron Technology is seeking an equipment maintenance professional in Penang, Malaysia, to monitor and improve performance, lead RCA, and drive continuous improvement across yield, quality, and cost metrics. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related engineering field, strong analytical and communication skills, and experience with semiconductor production equipment.

Minimum Qualifications

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with manufacturing, semiconductor, or automated production equipment.
• Knowledge of SPC, FMEA, DOE, RCA, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Proficiency in AI-powered productivity tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Power BI AI features, predictive analytics tools) and ability to leverage data-driven insights for problem-solving, automation, and operational improvement.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in semiconductor manufacturing environments.
• Knowledge of Industry 4.0, Smart Manufacturing, Digital Twin, IoT, or advanced automation technologies.
• Experience applying AI or machine learning techniques for equipment monitoring, predictive maintenance, or process optimization.
• Project management and leadership experience.
