Job summary

ams OSRAM Group is seeking a skilled technician for Analytic & Metrology tools in the fab environment. The role focuses on maintaining and troubleshooting equipment such as photo luminescence systems, XRD, Prober, and Candela to ensure continuous production and high-quality output.

The successful candidate will monitor tool performance, assist with equipment start-up and qualification, and collaborate with process engineers to implement preventive maintenance while upholding safety and EHS

Qualifications

Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical or relevant Engineering courses.
Experience with Analytic & Metrology equipment and related electrical/mechanical principles.
Ability to communicate in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Responsibilities

Responsible for performance of Analytic & Metrology tools such as photo luminescence, Prober, Candela, XRD and other associated support tools in fab/fabrication.
Performing machine schedule maintenance activities in clean room and sub facility with closure SAP PM timely without any safety and quality issue.
Sustain the running of the equipment, daily monitoring of all machine & process parameters and addressing line operation issues, ensure the uptime of the equipment with establish and implement preventive maintenance.
Assist engineers on development activities and support start-up/qualification of new equipment with process engineers.
