Job summary

Glow Production in Malaysia is seeking a concept artist with strong stylized design and game development experience to create high-quality concept artwork for our projects. You will collaborate with leads and cross-functional teams to deliver cohesive visuals and can mentor junior artists when needed.

The role requires 4+ years of professional concept art experience, solid art fundamentals, and proficiency in Photoshop. Onsite work or relocation is expected to accommodate project needs.

Qualifications

• 4+ years as a concept artist in a professional setting.
• Experience in core game development.
• Background in arts via diploma/degree or self-taught.
• Strong understanding of art fundamentals: perspective, color theory, lighting.
• Proficiency in Photoshop and digital tools.
• Willingness to work onsite or relocate.
• Open to talents from SEA countries, priority Malaysia.

• Stylized Design Expertise:Demonstrate exceptional proficiency in stylized and cute environment concept design.
• Create high-quality concept artwork for game production.
• Ability to design and render high finishing design artwork that meets professional standards.
• Adaptable and skilled in solving design challenges.
• Work closely with leads, teammates and other departments to deliver cohesive and impactful concept art.
• Independently manage tasks, personal schedule, and consistently meet deadlines effectively.
• Act as a mentor for junior artists when required for specific projects and tasks.

Requirements

• 4+ years as a concept artist in a professional setting.
• Possess experience in core game development.
• Background in arts, either through a diploma, degree, or self-taught.
• Strong understanding of art fundamentals, including perspective, color theory, and lighting.
• Proficiency in Photoshop and other relevant digital tools.
• Open to talents from SEA countries, with priority given to Malaysian artist.
• Willingness to work onsite or relocate.

Bonus

• Familiarity with other 2D & 3D software such as Blender, 3D Coat, Substance Painter, and similar tools.

Additional information
