JV Fresh Vend (Asia) Sdn Bhd is seeking an entry-level Vending Technician in Malaysia. The role involves performing routine maintenance, diagnosing issues on vending machines, and servicing client locations with a focus on learning and reliability.

The position requires a high school diploma and fluency in English, with training provided for preventive maintenance and coffee equipment servicing is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (SPM/'O' Level) required.
• Entry-level role, ideal for recent graduates.
• Ability to troubleshoot vending machines and resolve common issues.
• Willingness to perform preventative maintenance for optimal machine performance.
• Basic understanding of inventory management for parts and supplies.
• Strong communication and customer service for interactions at client locations.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently on service routes.
• Familiarity with or willingness to learn coffee equipment servicing is a plus.
• Fluency in English for effective communication with team and clients.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on vending machines to ensure optimal functionality.
• Conduct diagnostic tests and troubleshoot vending machine components (refrigeration, electrical, and payment systems) to identify and resolve problems.
• Respond to service calls and customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner with clear repair explanations.
• Manage inventory of spare parts and supplies with regular counts.
• Follow established preventative maintenance schedules to inspect and service vending machines.
• Maintain accurate service records for each machine including repairs and parts used.
• Adhere to safety regulations and company policies to ensure a safe work environment.
• Assist with installation and setup of new vending machines as needed.
